Okashii is an illustration, stationary, and Fashion Accessories brand that is inspired by Japanese Street Fashion trends. Our products are whimsical, bold, and pastel.

Our Mission

Our goal is to increase the availability of Japanese Street Fashion inspired items in the US. Japanese Street Fashion is currently a global style community. However,  many of the  representation are often excluding black and brown skinned people.We would like to help increase the visibility of people with darker skin in the Japanese Street Fashion Community.

Origin Story

Anita Flowers and Jordan Kelley met as freshmen roommates at Columbia College Chicago. They had similar interests in Japanese Street Fashion, Anime and all things kawaii. Fall of 2015 was the beginning of Okashii. Since then, they have made several YouTube lookbooks and participated in local convention Artists Allies around the Chicagoland area.
